What is the largest item you will need to store?
This helps to determine your minimum unit requirements, thus saving you money.

Will you need frequent access to your belongings?
If yes, leave enough walk-through space in your unit to get to your belongings. If you don't need frequent access, you can pack and stack tightly.

Do you have enough boxes?
Packing your goods in boxes takes up less room because the boxes can be stacked and unit space can be used more efficiently.
